Boy Meets World fans have not seen the last of Angela on Girl Meets World.

Shawn's former flame popped up in season 2's "Girl Meets Hurricane," and despite the fact that she didn't rekindle her romance with Shawn, Angela won't disappear from the storyline.

"Yes Angela will be back," the Girl Meets World writers teased on Friday. "She plays a very important role on the show."

Dubbed ShawngelaGate, Angela's reunion with Shawn and Co. left many 'shippers with tears in their eyes and without a 'ship to helm. Set to marry another man, Angela left Shawn by urging him to use the lessons from their old relationship to help prepare him for another.

"Shawn's relationship with Angela Moore had clearly ended in the original show, but ... Shawn is the only person Angela trusts to help her make an important decision," series creator Michael Jacobs told to TV Line. "In answering for Angela, Shawn also discovers something about himself, Riley and Maya. We all want these characters happy. Angela is. Shawn isn't. The way it was and has always been."
