The ABC family series will return this winter and, as per usual, the Liars will once again be plagued by mystery. While little is known about the danger that will reunite the high school pals, series creator Marlene King has dropped hints regarding a different problem - that of Sara Harvey (Dre Davis).

Davis' character will return for season 6B, and her perplexing hospital stay will be explained.

'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6: 'Lots Of Despair' For Ezria, Director Teases Aria & Ezra's Future

"Last we saw Sara Harvey, Emily (Shay Mitchell) punched her, and then right before they say goodbye, Emily says she heard Sara was getting out of the hospital, and we're like, 'What is she talking about? She just punched her, right?' And then they're all, 'What happened to her wasn't our fault,'" King recapped for The Hollywood Reporter. "So something happened to Sara Harvey that we're going to find out about when we come back. She's a little bit of a mysterious character in our world, and it's going to be fun to watch that play out."

Could she be related to the new big bad, or is there still more to her 'A' history? Viewers can find out when Pretty Little Liars jumps back into the ABC Family line up in 2016.
