Their relationship has been strained ever since Karma (Katie Stevens) learned that Liam (Gregg Sulkin) had slept with Amy (Rita Volk), and things are only going to get more complicated for the former couple on Faking It.

Karma Goes Out Of Control

Karma hasn't informed Liam about how her parents financial struggles have caused them to rent out their house to Felix's (Parker Mack) family-which made for a bizarre encounter when he appeared at her bedroom window to confess his feelings-only to find a shirtless Felix there because the room now belongs to him. Likewise, Liam hasn't confessed that she and her parents only got out of jail for selling pot to the high school's population because he made a deal with his father that he would put his passion for art behind him and begin working for the family's technology company.

Now, in a preview clip for the Monday, September 7 episode, when Karma takes a job catering an event at Liam's family's company and sees Liam at the party, the two have an extremely awkward encounter as a result.

Karma Keeps Big Secrets From Amy

"...speaking of being surprised, I met your new friend last night when I knocked on your window. He seemed...shirtless," Liam says to her to divert attention away from the fact that he's at the event.

"You were at my house?" Karma asks with a worried look on her face before quickly recovering. "Which is fine...uh, not fine. Because...uh...boundaries. But uh, that was Felix, and he's just a friend. No need to be jealous."

Then, after Karma reminds Liam that their situation is not a serious one, which causes him to react by introducing her to his new coworker-fellow intern Zita (Chloe Bridges).

"...I just didn't realize you had other friends," he says.

"I do...and you should too," she replies.

"Karma, this is Zita," he says.

Faking It airs Mondays at 9:30 p.m. on MTV.
