One Direction singers Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson called upon tattoo artist John Bahel to come to their New York City hotel room earlier this month and give them new tattoos.

Bahel tweeted "I usually don't make house calls but made an exception for #onedirection #zaynmalik #louistomlinson."

Both singers got arm tattoos and Malik ended up with "MSG" on his right forearm, a nod to his band's Madison Square Garden concert earlier in December. The new letters, in black ink, are right under his green and yellow "ZAP" tattoo, which is said to be an inside joke between the 1D band members.

The 19-year-old has now a total of nine tattoos, including an outline of a clothing hanger and his upper left arm, a large microphone on his forearm, an Arabic inscription on his collarbone and an outline of a hand with two fingers crossed.

Tomlinson's new tattoo is also on his right forearm, though reports have not confirmed what it is exactly that he added to his collection. The 20-year-old, who celebrates his birthday on Dec. 24, already has a flock of birds, a stick figure on a skateboard with the word "OOPS!" and "far away" on his right arm.

Even with his new tattoo, Tomlinson seems to want even more body ink. He tweeted on Dec. 16 "Just seen all these punk edits of pictures of me, makes me want more tattoos!!"

All of the band members have tattoos, with Niall Horan being the only member who just has one. He confessed in November that he has one on his rear end that says "I love SE."

Tomlinson, Malik, Horan, Liam Payne, and Harry Styles will begin their second headlining world tour on Feb. 23 in London, England. The 100-plus show tour will take the band to countries including Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Australia, the U.S. and Canada.
