A Missouri man is making headlines today after he was spotted on a street corner in St. Louis handing out resumes in an attempt to get a job.

The man, identified as Donald Grooms, was spotted on a street corner dressed in a shirt and tie, handing out his resume next to a sign, which read "Unemployed. My Family's dreams don't work unless I do! Please take a resume!!"

A passerby saw him doing so outside of Busch Stadium and snapped his photo, sharing it on Imgur and applauding him for not asking for financial handouts, and simply seeking employment instead to help his family during the difficult time.

Others have also taken to social media to applaud Grooms for his efforts at getting a job, and have expressed hope tat sharing the image and his story will help him with his goal.

Grooms, whose LinkedIn profile states he is a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, has two Bachelor's degrees from SUNY Potsdam in New York in English Writing Composition and Sociology, a Bachelor's from Logan University in Life Sciences and a Doctorate's in Chiropractic. His most recent employment was as an administrator at a printing company.
