Hazel E was MIA in the latest episode of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, but it looks like she’s going to be leaving the show for good.

While she’s set to appear in next week’s episode, the aspiring rapper made it clear that she’s not just looking for a come up and has decided to step away from the popular series.

She let her fans know via Twitter Wednesday and wrote, “I just quit #lhhh. I’m sorry to everyone who came out but I’m not desperate.”

Speculation must have started swirling that she didn’t quit but was instead kicked off. Because she followed her tweet with an Instagram video in which she said quietly, “I don’t get dropped. I drop the label.”

She then revealed in a more specific Instagram post why she decided to walk away after less than two seasons.

She wrote, “But what are we really saying..There can only be one truth to the story! At least today I decided I didn’t want to be in the circus anymore & retired my clown wig”

Hazel E saw her fair share of backlash and hard times on the first season of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. From a broken relationship and friendship with Yung Berg (only for him to move on with her friend Masika Kalysha) to a huge fallout with her close friend and then roommate Teairra Mari, Hazel most likely had more downs than ups last season.

But with her and Teairra back on good terms and Yung Berg and Masika off the show, it seemed that was the formula she needed to be happy on the show. Apparently some other stuff went down this season too.
