Even the zombie apocalypse can't stop hockey season, at least not on Z Nation.

The Syfy series will jump into the sports world in season 2, and the city of Spokane is invited to come along for the ride. Z Nation is looking for hokey fans of all ages to show their Chiefs pride for a special shoot at the Spokane Arena Sept. 25.

"Show creators will be on hand at the Spokane Arena's 20th Anniversary Open House," KREM 2 reported on Friday. "They want Spokane to be part of the background crowd in the shots they film. They ask people to come dressed in their favorite Spokane Chiefs gear or hockey fan attire."

Perhaps the shoot will help repair the damaged relationship between the series and its home city. Z Nation received some flack when Kellita Smith said the city provided easy sets for the show since it is "almost apocalyptic already."

It is unknown which episode will feature a Chiefs' game. The series' kicked off season 2 on Sept. 11 with "The Murph" and has already filmed through episode 8, "The Collector."
