Mystic Falls has new occupants coming into the new season of The Vampire Diaries and the longtime residents aren't fond of the new additions.

Will Lily Be Monitoring Her Heretic Family Closely During New 'Vampire Diaries' Season?

The CW Television Network's YouTube channel released an interview with the actress known for portraying the bubbly Caroline Forbes, Candice Accola (well, King now that she's going by her husband's last name according to the video).

In the video, fans of the supernatural series get a sneak peek into the very first episode of season 7, in which Caroline welcomes Lily's (Annie Wersching) heretic family to Mystic Falls.

It's not your typical welcoming though since Caroline, Matt (Zach Roerig) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) appear to be attempting to blow them up.

"And if Lily thinks she can control five heretics she's insane," Caroline states to Stefan in the teased clip prior to Stefan revealing his bomb-building plan.

"The heretics have come in causing chaos to Mystic Falls," the actress dished, adding, "Caroline does not like these heretics. She does not trust these heretics. Caroline is definitely the welcome wagon. She's ready to win them over with her wit and her charm while also blowing them up."

Given the video clip and the photo above it seems like the bomb is within the vase. It sounds like a great way to welcome dangerous supernatural beings into town.

"It was fun," the 28-year-old actress revealed, explaining, "I think it's a really fun introduction to kind of bringing these two worlds together."

The series returns to The CW in the fall for Season 7 on Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
