Big Brother 17 has been over for almost a week now, giving fans enough distance to assess the quality of the season.

Where Does Steve Moses Rank On Your 'Big Brother' Winner List?

Steve Moses won Big Brother 17 last Wednesday, defeating Liz Nolan by a jury vote of 6-3. While some fans found the season strong, due to unpredictable gameplay and bold houseguests, others found it lacking in big moments and truly dynamic characters.

Where would you rank Big Brother 17 on the overall list of seasons?

'Big Brother 17' Star Vanessa Rousso Is Marrying Her Girlfriend Melissa Ouellet!

Season 17 started off relatively strong, with alliances constantly shifting in the first few weeks of the game. However, big personalities like Jace Agolli, Da'Vonne Rogers, Jeff Weldon, Audrey Middleton and Jason Roy were evicted in the first five weeks of the game, leaving many of the more quiet, under-the-radar houseguests.

The Sixth Sense alliance was formed, with Vanessa, Liz, Julia Nolan, Austin Matelson, Clay Honeycutt and Shelli Poole as active members. Meanwhile, Vanessa, Liz, Julia, Austin and Steve formed a side alliance called the Scamper Squad. The Sixth Sense remained in power for the first five weeks but finally in Week 6, outsider James Huling won HOH and nominated Clay and Shelli. With the underdogs in power, Clay and Shelli were evicted back to back.

Meanwhile, John McGuire a.k.a. Johnny Mac became one of the most popular players in the house, at least for the viewing public. With his frank remarks and light-hearted delivery, he became a beacon of hope to many fans who found themselves disgusted with those in power.

The middle portion of the game was brutal for the underdog alliance, the After Dark Crew (James, Meg Maley, Jackie Ibarra). With the evictions of Jackie, Becky Burgess, Meg and James, all that remained in the Final 6 was the Scamper Squad and Johnny Mac.

Some fans found it frustrating that Vanessa, John and Steve would take such a strong threesome as Austin, Liz and Julia to the Final 6, but the gamble paid off. Steve won the Final 6 HOH and targeted the Austwins. Julia was sent packing, and Vanessa blindsided Austin at the next eviction. Vanessa's dominance in the game really became clear to the houseguests and America, as she then won the final Power of Veto of the season and evicted Johnny Mac.

Many believed that Vanessa had the game in the bag as she advanced to the Final 3 with Liz and Steve. But Steve knew that evicting Vanessa would be his biggest move in the game, and after he won the final HOH, he did the deed.

Steve took Liz to the end, winning the $500,000 grand prize and the title of Big Brother winner.
