Justin Bieber revealed his latest tattoo on Sunday that paid tribute to his grandfather and a weekly ritual the pair had.

The 18-year-old singer took to Instagram to show off his new ink: the Stratford Culliton hockey team logo on the back of his left shoulder blade.

"My grandfather always took me to the stratford culliton every friday night," Bieber captioned the image. "This is for u Grampa."

The grandfather Bieber referred to is his mother Pattie Mallette's stepfather, Bruce. The tattoo was done by Under the Gun Tattoo, who Bieber said "hooked it up." Bieber added to his nine already existing tattoos: a crown on his chest, lettering on his ribcage that reads "Yeshua" (which means "Jesus" in Hebrew), and a portrait of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns on his leg, to name a few.

On Dec. 30, Bieber posted a photo on his Instagram account with the caption "Newtat," debuting his tattoo of roses, inked right next to the tattoo he has of arms folding in prayer on his left leg. When users commented on his Instagam photo showing his new tattoo by posting "more and more tatto" and "why why why," Bieber responded simply with "because because because."

Young celebrities all over Hollywood got new tattoos recently and showed them off on social media before ringing in the new year. Before MTV "Jersey Shore" reality star and new mom Snooki hosted MTV's New Years Eve party live from Times Square, she tweeted about her "fierce leopard tattoo" and attached an image of it.

In Decemeber, some of the One Direction singers added to their tattoo collection. Harry Styles, with Taylor Swift close by, got another arm tattoo in Los Angeles on Dec. 18. He and Swift went to Shamrock Tattoo Parlor where the 'What Makes You Beautiful" singer got a huge ship design on his upper left arm, right next to the heart he has inked on his bicep. Earlier that month, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson called upon tattoo artist John Bahel to come to their New York City hotel room and give them new tattoos. Both singers got arm tattoos and Malik ended up with "MSG" on his right forearm, referencing his band's Madison Square Garden December concert.
