While Aladdin is still alive on Broadway, the Disney classic of 1992 left an indelible impression, and recently we were reminded of one of its most beautiful songs via an even more mesmerizing performance on Good Morning America.

Brad Kane and Lea Salonga, the voices that made Aladdin and Jasmine serenade each other so effortlessly to each other, came on the show and wooed audiences again after 23 years.

The duo gave a pitch-perfect performance of the hit, 'A Whole New World', on the show. The song picked up the Best Original Score at the Oscars and a Grammy for Song of the Year in 1993.

The movie is being buzzed about again as a special Diamond Blu-Ray release of Aladdin was recently released with a never-seen-before outtakes featuring Robin Williams as Genie.

In a recent E!Online interview, Aladdin's director John Musker looked back on the film and how it all started.

"We were going for an out and out comedy, which was different from Mermaid and different from Beauty and the Beast," Musker said. "It was kind of risky in that way."

Co-director Rob Clements also weighed in giving due credit to lyricist Howard Ashman and musician Alan Menken.

"Aladdin really started with Howard Ashman and Alan Menken," Clements said. "They wrote about five or six songs for that version," Musker said. "I think Howard was even thinking of maybe of directing it...but then when he saw how tough that was...that didn't seem as appealing to him."
