Nick Burkhardt's carefree days are over on Grimm.

'Grimm' Season 5 Premiere: Chaos Reigns In Sneak Peek, Nick Is 'A Man On Fire'

The monster hunter can no longer dive into danger with nary a second thought. With a child to protect, Nick (David Giuntoli) will have to make some major changes if he doesn't want a stream of baddies breaking down his door every other week. By time "Clear and Wesen Danger" rolls around, the new dad will be ready to shake up his routine.

"As the Wesen continue to rise big changes are in store for Nick at home," NBC teased of episode 2. "On the heels of becoming a new father, Nick must make some major changes to keep his child and Adalind (Claire Coffee) safe. Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) step in to help prepare for the new addition."

Nick will certainly have the extra time to spend with his child and baby mama. A suspension will leave Hank (Russell Hornsby) with a new partner and Nick with an open schedule.
