Is Brooks Ayers pursuing a lawsuit against his Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Meghan King Edmonds?

Brooks Ayers' Job Raises More Questions Regarding His Cancer Diagnosis

This afternoon, Ayers' attorney released a new statement regarding his client's possible case.

“Meghan has been terrorizing Brooks with her accusations," Ayers' attorney told Real Mr. Housewife on Wednesday. "Like George Bush said, we will respond at a time and in a way of our choosing.”

When Edmonds was asked to respond to the attorney's comment, she told the site, “There will not be a response from Mr. Ries or Mr. Ayers because they do not have a case. Any ‘response’ would and will be frivolous.”

Edmonds also spoke of Ayers' potential lawsuit weeks ago.

"I am waiting patiently on my official documents that I'm being sued," Edmonds told PEOPLE Magazine earlier this month. "I already got one letter threatening to sue if I don't comply with his requests, including one to issue a formal public apology. I didn't respond on purpose, because he's full of crap and doesn't have a case. So now I'm waiting to be sued... He won't. He knows he's a liar and he's pissed off at me and made a feeble attempt to intimidate me into not talking. When really, it's so ridiculous I simply laughed it off. He doesn't have the balls to sue me."

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 reunion continues next Monday night, Oct. 26, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
