"[P]ray for him, he will get better," Capra tweeted last Monday.

The model's publicity team released a statement yesterday, Monday, Oct. 26, in which details about the car crash were revealed. It turns out Sanchez was driving his Infiniti G37 and fell asleep at the wheel, due to exhaustion from appearing in fashion shows in Los Angeles and Atlanta, in the suburb of La Crescenta. "The car was totaled and he was found lying unconscious on the ground next to the driver's door after attempting to flee from the smoking car. Doctors say that, had the airbags not deployed, the accident would have been fatal as Sanchez's head would have burst through the windshield," the press release noted. The model has been diagnosed with anterograde amnesia and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, but is expected to make a complete recovery. He does not have health insurance so a GoFundMe campaign was created last Thursday to help raise funds so he can pay his costly medical bills. A sum of $30,000 is the goal and so far just over $1,000 has been donated. Four days ago the model revealed donating isn't the only way to help him; reposting and sharing the link to the campaign is just as helpful. "My face is ruined, my car is wrecked, my memory is blurry, but I have you guys," he stated, showing how grateful he is for the support he has been given during this rough time.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 22 airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
