American Horror Story mainstay Evan Peters recently revealed the differences between Jessica Lange and Lady Gaga.

Will The Disturbing 'American Horror Story' Dinner Party Continue Into Episode 5?

Peters, who has had a starring role in all five seasons of American Horror Story, recently sat down with Details to discuss his career and his thoughts on the horror anthology series.

The actor, who is playing sadistic hotel developer James March in Hotel, the show's current season, spoke about working with Gaga. While Gaga is much less experienced than Lange, who was a series regular for the first four seasons, Peters took note that there is a different energy.

Why Evan Peters' Concept For 'American Horror Story' Keeps Getting Shot Down

"Jessica is a veteran at doing this. A legend. And Gaga is new to this whole thing," Peters explained. "So there is this younger, fresher excitement. She is happy to be there. And it is revamping the show-we are on season five and we could be tired of doing it. But each year it's a different story, so that is incredibly refreshing, not to mention you have this budding actress. I know she has acted before but this is sort of her debut."

Peters also talked about "how down to earth" Gaga is in real life which mixes with her "otherworldly" creativity.

"She's on a higher plane whether it is music or fashion and now it's acting," Peters said. "She has immersed herself in the artistic lifestyle. And she has stayed true to herself, which is something that most people can't do-the people surrounding them don't let them do it. But she has surrounded herself with people that only accept her for who she is. So it has been enlightening to watch her and see her do her thing, her creative process. I have to say it is inspiring and very cool."

Gaga and Peters have yet to work together onscreen thus far into Hotel but this is probably bound to change at some point.

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
