The force is with Heidi and Spencer Pratt on Halloween.

On Thursday, Entertainment Tonight posted a snapshot of the former Hills stars as they dressed as Princess Leia and Chewbacca from the Star Wars movies. The two also happened to be joined by their puppies who were dressed in costumes from a galaxy 'far, far away.'

With the seventh movie hitting theaters this year, Heidi admitted that she thought this would be a great way to celebrate.

"Spencer and I are huge fans of the Star Wars movies. We just binge watched all the movies," she told the site. "We thought it would be really fun in honor of the new trilogy coming out."

As adorable as the family looked for the camera, Heidi pointed out that it can be tricky to get dogs to pose properly when photos are being snapped.

"It's hard with dogs," she said. "Dogs are so hard getting their attention and having them sit there for the camera. It took a while to get the costumes on them and get them in place for the camera."

Heidi and Spencer aren't the only ones to go Star Wars for Halloween this year. Neil Patrick Harris and his family let the force be with them as well in a pretty epic family photo.
