One Direction had a big day on Saturday since their On The Road Again Tour officially concluded with its final show in Sheffield, England.

The tour began in February in Australia when the band was still a five-piece, but since then so much has changed and Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are nearing the release of their fifth studio album and then they will be taking a much needed and deserved break with no known time of regrouping.

Anyway, Saturday was a rather emotional day for the band. It marked their final tour gig before they take a hiatus that begins in March of this upcoming year.

Prior to the gig, the Irish member tweeted, "Really excited about the show tonight .. gona be a big one !"

On Sunday, following the partying celebrating the end of the tour, Horan tweeted again, sharing exactly why the final gig was so "emotional" for them.

The 22-year-old even shared a couple of photos from the final show on his Instagram, including one of him and his three bandmates hugging it out on stage.

That show was a really big deal for them. It clearly sent Horan into an emotional tailspin since he revealed in a different Instagram post that he was "hungover" and wound up watching the 2008 comedy/drama Marley & Me, which had him feeling even more emotional.

"This is not fair on my emotions," the Irish musician dished.

It definitely sounds like 1D ended their tour in a big, emotional way with some added help from alcohol and a sappy, tearjerker movie on Horan's behalf.
