Supergirl doesn't have a secret identity, but Hank Henshaw might.

As it turns out, the leader of the Department of Extra-Normal Operations has a few super (evil) skills of his own. Like Marvel, DC has proved that they are masters of the sting, and "Stronger Together" left viewers staring at Hank's suspiciously glowing red eyes.

Now, Supergirl fans are left wondering if Agent Henderson is hiding his true identity as former astronaut and Superman nemesis Cyborg Superman.

"If you're a comic book fan, you probably have a hint as to why his eyes are glowing red," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

After the success of the Flash's Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne twist last year, Kreisberg and Co. are ready to put Hank's tale on a slow simmer. As with most comic book adaptations, even long time readers won't know exactly what's coming down the pipe.

"We always try to satiate what the comic book fans' expectations are, while also letting in the wider audience," Kreisberg teased. "If you're a comic book fan, you're obviously going to come to it with some preconceived notions, and that'll be exciting for you. And if you're not, you're just going to be like, 'Why are Hank's eyes glowing? What does that mean?!'"

Well, it sure sounds like a run in with Cyborg Superman is in Supergirl's near future. What he is planning as the head of the DEO, however, is the real mystery.
