NeNe Leakes return might have been good news for The Real Housewives of Atlanta fans and even Bravo as it’s bound to bring in more viewers. But one person who reportedly got the short end of the stick is her former co-star Sheree Whitfield.

Whitfield, who starred in the show with Leakes from the first season until season four, is back on the show for season eight after Leakes made her grand departure earlier this summer.

But upon word that Leakes is making appearances in multiple episodes (rumors say the other ladies didn’t bring enough drama on their own), reports swirl that Whitfield has gotten yet another demotion. After being taken from full-time to part-time, it has been said that Whitfield will only be in episodes 11 & 12 this season.

It’s not clear if the change is because of Leakes return. But Whitfield might have more than enough drama to share. Her ex-husband was spotted taping with the cast in Jamaica. One can only guess how he’s fitting into her story line this season.

Interestingly enough, OK! magazine said that Whitflied was supposed to pop up on the ladies for season seven, but she and the network could not come to an agreement for her contract. She was slated to surprise the ladies in Thailand, but things didn’t work out the way she hoped. It looks like Bravo still liked the idea and had Leakes shock the women in Jamaica last week.
