In an interview with TVLine, Pete Nowalk, showrunner of How to Get Away With Murder dished about an intriguing plot point in season 2.

Connor Worried About Oliver 'Getting Pulled Into Annalise's Web'

Nowalk revealed that a loose ended storyline from season 1 might finally be tied up in this one. In season 1 Frank's (Charlie Weber) reasons for killing Lila Stangard weren't made known. This aspect of Frank's character arc will be dealt with in season 2 and fans will finally know why he did what he did.

"Not having written the episodes yet, I can't promise it, but that's obviously a huge deal that Frank is carrying this secret," Nowalk said. "And everything that's happened in that house since we met these people is because of Frank's lie. We would be really bad writers if we didn't touch upon that ever again."
