Worms, snakes, wiggly critters - they aren't exactly the most pleasing things on Earth. However, the folks from MIT led by Ken Nakagaki used it as their inspiration to invent Lineform.

In a report by The Daily Dot, Lineform is set to become a shape-shifting robotic worm capable of handling multi-tech tasks. "The hardware consists of a series of motors so that the overall shape can be rendered by controlling each motor's angle," Nakagaki said.
