One of Supernatural's biggest season 11 reveals is just episodes away.

'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 8: Prepare For Flashbacks; Why Did Young Sam Need An Imaginary Friend?

We know who the Darkness is, and before The CW series breaks for its winter hiatus, viewers will know who is sending Sam (Jared Padalecki) his mysterious visions.

One hint - it has nothing to do with John Winchester.

'Supernatural' Season 11: Cas Has A Plan To Kill The Darkness, What Could Go Wrong? Misha Collins Explains

"Let's just say this - you're on the right track knowing that it's not Dad. Not young Dad, not old Dad, not normal Dad. Not any Dad," Padalecki teased at Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural in Pasadena while Jensen Ackles (Dean) assured fans that they already know the answer.

"You will find out very, very soon," Padalecki continued. "In fact, once we get past Richard Speight's episode we're going to find out."

That's right, you're definitely going to want to tune in for episode 9. Titled "O Brother Where Are Thou?," the December episode will feature talk of the cage and a mention of Adam.

Are Sam's visions really coming from someone in the pit? If so, that narrows the possibilities down to Lucifer, Michael, or Adam (although his soul is probably ripped to shreds by now.) Tell us your best theory in the comments below!
