With the anticipated due date slated for Christmas Day, Kim Kardashian couldn't be more ready for the December 25th arrival of her son.

The KUWTK star recently opened up to E! News about her pregnancy: "I think the last month is just waiting." Having given birth to her first child, North West, six weeks early, she went on to say, "I didn't get to experience the last month last time...So they say you gain the most weight at the end."

After admitting that the last few weeks are the toughest, she's also understandably finding it more difficult to exercise and pick up her 2-year-old daughter: "She always wants me to pick her up and be with her, and it's really hard to do a lot of the lifting and stuff like that, so that last month is not fun."

Kardashian, who was widely ridiculed by tabloids for her weight gain during her first pregnancy, has gained a healthy but harrowing 52 pounds, and she admitted in a refreshingly candid statement to E! News that she's "not going to sit here and lie and act like it's this blissful experience. It's awful."

Regardless of the long and uncomfortable wait, Kim insists to E!, "It was really hard for me to get pregnant, so i do feel really blessed that I am pregnant and at the end of the day, it's a million times worth it."

This isn't the first time that the reality star has opened up about her and husband, Kanye West, having difficulty conceiving, making the risk factors involved in her delivery higher than usual. "Every medical issue that you could probably have I feel like I get and I worry so much about it," she added. "This pregnancy I have a little bit more anxiety just because I know what's to come and it's really inevitable some of the issues that I'm going to have. You know I have a high-risk delivery and all of that gives me such anxiety...I do have access to amazing doctors that have been so helpful so I'm hopeful that everything will work out and be fine."
