NCIS: Los Angeles is gearing up for an explosive spring.

'NCIS: LA' Season 7 Spoilers: Will The Team Have To 'Cancel Christmas'? Holidays Bring Spies & Densi's Moms

From rogue agents to the Catch-22 of undercover work, the CBS drama has put forth some captivating season 7 storylines. Each character has had a moment to shine, but once the winter hiatus is through, the OSP team will turn their attention back to the series' biggest mystery - Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) family.

The orphan agent went slightly off the rails after his season 6 finale trip to Russia, but the search for Arkady (Vyto Ruginis) and Callen Sr. is far from over. The Russians are coming, and their storyline will burst onto the screen in a two-part episode.

'NCIS: LA' Season 7 Spoilers: When Will Deeks Be Arrested? Revised Episode Schedual Revealed

"#NCISLA will air 2 eps. You WILL NOT want 2 miss. Feb. 2016. Worth every minute of the wait. Writ[en] by [Kyle Harimoto and R. Scott Gemmill] #StayTuned 4details," executive producer John Peter Kousakis tweeted on Saturday.

The announcement came after Kousakis promised "Russia is closer than you think. It's all you hoped for."

The episodes, which are being filmed as numbers 712 and 713, will most likely air as the 14th and 15th installments of the current season. It is unknown exactly what the motherland has in store for Hetty's (Linda Hunt) crew, but TV Line reported that it will result in a major pay off in the wake of Callen's premiere investigation. What's more, the two hours will involve at least one reunion.

"There may be a reunion that will happen there," Gemmill said of Russia, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

While viewers (and Callen) are praying that Gemmill is referring to a meeting between G and his father, the writer could also be referencing a meet up with either Arkady or his daughter Anna (Bar Paly).
