Thanksgiving may not have many movies dedicated to it, but television has always celebrated the holiday - here are some classic Thanksgiving TV episodes to watch on Netflix.

Netflix currently streams thousands of hours of television, and there are more than a few Thanksgiving-themed episodes among them. From classic sitcoms like Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and Cheers to dramas like Friday Night Lights and Parenthood, there's no limit to feeling some Thanksgiving cheer through Netflix.

Here is our list of the five TV episodes you must watch on Netflix in honor of Thanksgiving 2015:

Friends - "The One With All the Thanksgivings"

This classic episode of Friends is perhaps best remembered for the sight of Joey (Matt LeBlanc) with his head stuck in a turkey. Other highlights from this episode include Monica (Courteney Cox) cutting off one of Chandler's (Matthew Perry) toes and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) recalling her past lives.

Gilmore Girls - "A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving"

Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) have to go to four Thanksgiving dinners in this insane episode of Gilmore Girls. The Gilmores must go to the Kims, Sookie's (Melissa McCarthy), Luke's (Scott Peterson) and Lorelei's parents. Anyone who understands the dysfunction of a Thanksgiving dinner will love this episode.

The West Wing - "Shibboleth"

Fans of high drama and politics will enjoy this episode of The West Wing. C.J. (Allison Janney) is tasked with handling the annual Thanksgiving turkey pardoning while Charlie (Dulé Hill) looks for a carving knife. Even those in the highest office of the land feel the stress of Thanksgiving.

How I Met Your Mother - "Slapsgiving"

Like Friends, How I Met Your Mother always produced great Thanksgiving episodes and Slapsgiving is an absolute classic. Marshall (Jason Segel) tells Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) that another slap is coming as part of their slap bet. The high stakes episode is one you won't want to miss.

Friday Night Lights - "Thanksgiving"

Friday Night Lights is a perfect family show to experience any time, but especially on Thanksgiving. This episode, aptly titled Thanksgiving, takes place during the holiday week with Coach (Kyle Chandler) and Tami (Connie Britton) hosting a family dinner and the Lions and the Panthers facing off.

All of these TV episodes are currently available to stream on Netflix.
