Despite Lady Gaga's frequent collaborations with Tony Bennett, he is not watching her in FX's American Horror Story: Hotel.

Like Her 'AHS: Hotel' Character, Lady Gaga Wants To Be Taken Seriously

Gaga and Bennett put out their own duet album Cheek to Cheek last year, went on tour together and even star in a new Barnes & Noble commercial, but Bennett is not watching Gaga in her current role as The Countess in AHS: Hotel.

But it's not because Bennett doesn't want to! Gaga actually told Bennett's wife, Susan Crow, that he should not watch her in the series.

Lady Gaga Reveals How Her 'American Horror Story' Role 'Helps' Her Anxiety & Depression

"Gaga told me, 'Don't let Tony watch it!'" Crow told People recently. "I told Gaga I was watching it and she said, 'Please don't let Tony see it - I'm serious! Don't let him watch it!' And now that I've seen some of it I'm like, 'Oh, I understand!'"

This season of American Horror Story has been even more graphic and sexual than usual, which doesn't exactly jive with the classy sensibilities of Bennett, 89.

However, Crow did commend Gaga's performance in Hotel saying she's "great," and while she thinks it "might be a little much" for Bennett, she still thinks he would ultimately enjoy it.

Crow also spoke about Bennett's friendship with Gaga: "They have a very good relationship. We love Gaga."

So is another album or tour planned in the future? Nothing has been confirmed as of late, but the two work so well together that another collaboration seems likely.

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
