Kissing scenes are usually an unwelcome burden for actors. Catherine Zeta-Jones visited the Ellen Degeneres show to talk about what that was like. Jones' husband, Michael Douglas is playing the role of Liberace in an upcoming movie in which he has to kiss Matt Damon.

In the HBO flick “Behind the Candelabra”, Douglas stars as the famed 1980s gay disco singer Liberace and Matt Damon plays Liberace’s lover Scott Thorson.

“If my husband is going to kiss anybody it is going to be Matt Damon,” Jones told Ellen Degeneres on Wed. Jan 30. Degeneres chimed in that she also had the opportunity to smooch Damon on her show once.“Matt’s a good kisser… He’s been on the show and we kissed here.” Degeneres jokingly told the audience, “I highly recommend if any of you get the chance, kiss Matt Damon.”

The “Zorro” star recalled the times she had to kiss a man other than her husband. “I’ve Kissed Antonio Banderas and Brad Pitt”, she told Degeneres. “I remember the day I had to go to work and I had to kiss Brad Pitt and Michael asked me what scene am I doing today. I said, ‘I’m in bed with Brad Pitt,’ and he said, ‘Go for it, girl!’”

The couple who married in 2000 have gone through their share of personal struggles. Most recently, Douglas battled stage 4 throat cancer which initially put the movie on hold, so that Douglas could receive chemotherapy treatment. Douglas has since beat the disease. “These things are sent to try us. We’re not the only couple who have gone through adversity,” she said. “We’ve come out of the other side strong, healthier and much better. Everything’s going great and we move on."
