Warner Bros. Pictures has just released the red-band trailer for their upcoming 2016 mystery action comedy directed by Shane Black (who also directed Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang). The movie stars Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling.

Set during the 1970s, Crowe - who is playing as Jackson Healy, is a recovering alcoholic, muscle-for-hire Los Angeles private detective and is on top form as an especially violent officer investigating the apparent suicide of a fading female porn star.

Healy partners up with Holland March, a rookie private eye, police officer portrayed by Ryan Gosling. Pvt. March also has a smart-mouth adolescent daughter. It's an action-packed trailer with plenty if gun play. The movie also stars Matt Bomer, Kim Basinger, Margaret Qualley, Keith David and others.

The movie's release was initially scheduled on June 17 of next year, but was moved to an earlier date to May 20.
