The shows are set during different time periods and are in entirely different locations all together, but it appears there may be more of a chance than expected that The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead could eventually have a crossover event.

Did 'Fear The Walking Dead' Live Up To The Hype?

In a new interview promoting the second season of Fear, star Kim Dickens revealed to Digital Spy that she no longer thinks it's impossible that the two shows could eventually be a part of the exact same universe, and later feature a crossover with characters from both shows.

"I think we were just sort of led to believe early on that there was no crossover-it was a little bit different time period, a different story, different location, different characters," she said. "But I don't think it's anything that's out of the question. I'm sure the writers would do it in a fantastic way, but I have no idea if they're going to do it. I would be game for it!"

What Do Sam's Actions In 'TWD' Finale Mean For Future Episodes?

And though she admitted she doesn't know much about her show's upcoming second season, she did say that she thinks it will still develop at an organic pace-and keep the suspense going-despite a much bigger episode order over the first.

"We stayed unique in our approach with our slow evolution into the apocalypse so I imagine it might be a similar pacing in a very naturalistic way of every time we regroup to take moments-I don't think it's just going to take off with zombies after zombies after zombies," she said. "I think there's going to be a natural pace to it as there was in the first season."
