Scream Queens' Red Devil has conned her way to freedom, and Hester's evil machinations will keep her around for another year.

The Fox series has yet to snag a renewal, but Scream Queens' time in limbo hasn't stopped series creator Ryan Murphy from plotting out season 2. As far as Lea Michele knows, her murderous character will have a role to play.

"I've talked to Ryan [Murphy] about what [Hester's] role would be in the next season being that she was the killer this year and the fact is that she gets away with it," Lea told E! Online. "So Hester would be there."

This time around, however, Michele (probably) won't be in on the killings. If Dean Munsch spills her secret, though, there may be those who think the Red Devil is back.

"How funny would it be if all these killings started happening again, and if they found out that she was The Red Devil, she could just be like, I'm really NOT doing it this year, I promise?" Michele teased. "We've talked about how she then would unfold into another season."
