Jessica Biel opened up on the struggle of balancing her life as a mom, wife and actress.

In an interview with Marie Claire posted last Friday, Biel dished on how difficult it is for not just her, but for any parent to figure out how to handle a husband, kids and work. It's something she's working on now and will probably continue to focus on that as she gets older.

"This is probably an issue that every parent, especially every mother, experiences, forever!" the actress said. "There's just so much going on when you have a child, as they really start to become a person, and it's a constant battle because of the struggle to sort of take turns of who comes first- how do you balance your home life, work life, social life and your own independent private life?"

This kind of perspective relates to her character in the new suspense flick Bleeding Heart. Biel plays May, a woman who rescues her sister from an abusive boyfriend.

"It all relates back to May--that struggle for her is the same for a new mom or dad, or for a person in a relationship," Biel said. "It is all very similar. I'm personally experiencing it now in a totally different, way more complicated way. It's really hard to find time for me, where I say, 'You know what? It's my time now and I'm number one today.' It never really happens!"

Biel has been married to pop star Justin Timberlake for three years. They have one son, Silas, who's eight months old now.
