Agent Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) used "Kings of the Highway" to list of every safeguard the Post Office team had whipped up for their fugitive coworker, but now that Reven Wright is six feet under, it appears all their hard work was for naught. As Ressler returns to the drawing board in "The Director," Liz (Megan Boone) will have to rely on Red (James Spader) and Aram (Amir Arison).

"While Liz (Megan Boone) awaits trial Red and Aram take bold measures to ensure her protection," NBC said of the midseason premiere.

It's time once again for our FBI pals to throw the rules in the trash.

"All of the precautions that Ressler put into place were done through Reven Wright, who has unfortunately now been murdered, and is not there right when he needs her," series creator Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly. "He is going to have to, in a hurry, figure out that the train has gone off the rails and it's time to improvise, which may mean turning to Red and handling things in a bit of a non-traditional way."
