Teresa Guidice & Surrogate for Fifth Child? 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Talks of Having a Boy
Reality star Teresa Guidice has four daughters and recently revealed that she is hoping to have another -preferably a boy - possibly with the help of a surrogate.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member said to In Touch Weekly that her husband Joe Guidice "really wants a boy. And he said we should get a surrogate to carry it." The publication, which printed the story in their latest issue out on newsstands now, cited a show insider that said Guidice refuses to get pregnant again and that she is considering Joe's recommendation to use a surrogate for the couple's fifth child.
"He is really pressuring her," the source explained. "If that's what he wants, she may just give in."
Another insider told the magazine that in their last attempt to conceive a boy, Teresa underwent in vitro fertilization in 2009. In the end, though, she gave birth to her fourth daughter: Audriana, 3. Teresa and Joe are also parents to Gia, 12, Gabriella, 8, and Milania, 7.
Should she have a boy though, the reality star already has a name picked out: "Franco," she said. "After my father-in-law."
Teresa declared in 2010 that she would not have anymore children. She told People, "I'm done."
"Would my husband want to have another child? Yes! He keeps saying let's have another one. We make such beautiful babies we should go for another one. I'm like, "Are you crazy?' "
The Real Housewives of New Jersey aired already four seasons. The Bravo reality show follows the lives of Caroline Manzo and her sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita, and Teresa Guidice with her cousin Kathy Wakile and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. The series first aired in 2009 and filming for season five is reportedly halfway over. Bravo has not released an official premiere date, but when Gorga's husband Joe was asked by a fan in late January about the show's return, he said it would premiere in May.
