Michelle Dockery gave a new tease for how everything will turn out in the final episode of Downton Abbey.

Mary Is Going 'Business Mode' On 'Downton Abbey'

On Thursday, Express posted the update from when the actress spoke on Good Morning Britain. When the final episode of the series was brought up, she mentioned that there will be moments worth tearing up over, but there is still something to smile about.

"We've had some dramas," Dockery said. "There's still lots of twists and turns in the special and I think the audience will be sad, but it ends on a positive note."

Meanwhile, executive producer Gareth Neame spoke to Deadline about how people are raving over the final season, saying it's the best one.

"People enjoy these final seasons," Neame said. "When you're so vested in the characters and how they reach conclusions...the conclusions aren't definite. The camera is just going to move away and unbeknownst to us (the characters' lives will continue). I think people have found it very satisfying how stories have been tied up. We achieved all expectations. A lot of people feel it's the best season ever. That's rewarding."

The producer then weighed in on rumors that a Downton movie might take place.

"We've had some conversations about it," he said. "[Series creator] Julian [Fellowes] and I are keen. There is no script and no firm plan, but it's certainly something there is to talk of; we're not in denial about anything. We'll know more next year."

Downton Abbey Season 6 premieres in the United States on Sunday, January 3, 2016 on PBS.
