Bow Wow might be going through a rough split with his ex-fiancée Erica Mena, but he has revealed a special lesson his daughter, Shai Moss taught him.

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, seems to be focusing more on family and his career ever since things went extremely left for him and Mena.

He shared a photo on Instagram Sunday and revealed in the caption that he decided to take his mother and aunt out for a special lunch.

“I’m understanding now to spend more time and cherish the moments. My daughter helped me learn that,” he added.


It looks like Bow Wow is still counting his blessings despite the engagement to Mena being called off earlier this year. The two first went public with their relationship in early 2014. But fans were even more shocked when he popped the question in September.

They both insisted it was not for publicity purposes, but never quite made it down the aisle despite trying to do their best to overcome critics who said they wouldn’t tie the knot. Instead, they had an ugly falling out on social media in which Mena not only accused him of being an abuser, but said that he has assaulted Shai’s mother, Joie Chavis. Chavis has since shut down the claims.

But now, Bow Wow and Chavis are co-parenting just fine amid rumors that they have gotten back together as well. Bow Wow, Chavis and their daughter spent Christmas together and Bow Wow even posted a video of him and his daughter bonding together on the morning of Christmas Eve.
