Dave Navarro is getting pumped up for the new season of Ink Master.

Is There Going To Be A Season 8 For 'Ink Master?'

On Monday, the reality series host took to his Twitter page to announce his excitement to return to the tattoo world in New York City. As more artists compete to find out who the new leader is in creating ink on skin, Navarro definitely has more to look forward to.

Chatter On 'Ink Master's' Search For New Contestants

The winner of Season 6 turned out to be Dave Kruseman who partnered with Duffy Fortner. When Fortner was eliminated from the race, she told Carter Matt that whoever went up against her partner would be up for a challenge.

"Is Kruseman makes it to the finale, whoever the other two finalists might be will both be strong competition," the tattoo expert said. "You didn't make top three if you weren't strong!"

Fortner then discussed how a female has yet to win the competition, but perhaps that might change in the upcoming season.

"Not sure why there hasn't been a female winner yet, but there were only three female contestants out of a total of 18 (in my season specifically)," she said. "Maybe if there were more females on the show we would have a better chance of seeing a female winner. But the tattoos speak for themselves, male or female."

Ink Master Season 7 is expected to premiere in spring 2016 on Spike TV.
