Now that Teresa Giudice has her prison sentence behind her, it looks like she is ready to make some serious changes in her life. In fact, sources close to the Real Housewives of New Jersey stat say that she wants to make amends with her family members, including her estranged father, Giancito Gorga.

According to Star Magazine on Tuesday, there's a good chance that Giudice had some serious life revelations during her time behind bars, as she spent the last year in prison after she and her husband Joe Giudice were found guilty of multiple counts of fraud and tax evasions. Now, the reality star is looking to make all of her wrongs into rights, starting off with her family.

Eyewitnesses say that Teresa burst into tears when she was reunited with her father and mother, Antonia Gorga, after her release on Dec. 23. The emotional reunion apparently lasted throughout the holidays, as Teresa wants to leave her family drama behind her.

"It was the first time she saw her father since she went to prison in January," the source added. "Giacinto had refused to visit, because he said he didn't want to see his daughter locked up behind bars."

What's more, Teresa was worried that she would never see her father again and hoped to be reunited with him before it was too late.

"Teresa's biggest fear while locked up had been that something could happen to her parents while she was inside," the insider explained. "And there was genuine concern that Teresa would never see her father again, because he has been suffering from several ailments. He is getting older and Teresa was just so grateful to be able to hug her dad again."
