Kathy Hilton recently spoke out on Twitter claiming someone had been planting stories about her family. But according to the latest report, it is Hilton's own husband, Rick, who started the latest rumor about her half-sister, Kyle Richards.

Earlier this week, Rick spoke to TMZ, claiming Richards had given notice to Bravo after deciding to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, according to a second report, Rick only spoke of Richards' alleged exit in an effort to pressure her to quit the reality show.

“Kyle was absolutely stunned,” an insider told Radar Online on Wednesday. “There has been so much family drama between Kyle and her sister Kathy Hilton, Rick’s wife, ever since Nicky‘s wedding last summer. Kathy was furious that Kyle was blabbing about the wedding drama on camera.”

“Kyle told Kathy she had asked Bravo to cut any further mention of the wedding from [The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills], but there was never any talk about quitting the show,” the source explained.

As for why Rick reportedly lied to TMZ, Radar Online's source suggested it was all a part of his plan to make her look like she betrayed their family if she doesn't follow through.

“Kyle thinks Rick is trying to publicly pressure her into leaving [The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills],” the source claimed. “That if she refuses to do so, it will make her look bad.”
