Kind-Hearted Kayaker Rescues A Terrified Little Squirrel In A Flood

New Year, new rescue missions.

A flood surveyor from Missuori found a little squirrel up a creek, struggling for his life. The kind soul managed to save the scared animal while riding on his kayak. He also managed to film the whole thing with his trusty GoPro.

His name is Tony Weiss, he uploaded the footage on his YouTube account with a description that says, "I saw this little guy jump and try to swim for a bigger tree for safety but the current was just too strong. You can see him jump from the tree in front of me and start swimming but the current was quickly pulling him downstream. I know squirrels don't understand English but I couldn't help but yell out some positive encouragement."

Luckily, the little squirrel managed to use the kayak to leap to higher ground.
