Over the New Year's holiday, Fergie took to her Instagram page to post a black and white photo of her two-year-old son, Axl, as he wears a black shirt with matching gloves and sunglasses. In the caption, his mom let everyone know she is celebrating the new year and it's time to "rock and roll."

Even though Axl is rockin' it out for 2016, his pop star mother told E! News that her son would not be there for the countdown since that's way past his bedtime.

"He will not be allowed to stay up," she said. "Not yet!"

She added that her child "will probably be sleeping by the time it's midnight," and it's possible that being awake by that time might not happen for a good while.

Fergie co-hosted part of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest where her husband, Josh Duhamel, would be waiting for his midnight kiss. The singer said her man would likely be waiting "with bated breath" for her "the second that I get off that stage!"

Fergie also told AOL what her resolution is this year.

"I've gotta be so scheduled and regimented to keep everything together, you know?" she said. "With Axl and my husband and this album and making sure that everything stays balanced."
