A police officer named Wilner LaGuerre did a heartwarming gesture when he responded to an 80-year-old woman in Oklahoma.

When LaGuerre received the 911 call, the elderly woman named Ms. Ross said to him that she fears she will soon lose power. "I wanted to know, in case of this storm, if someone could pick me up?" said the caller. She added that she would only be ok for an hour or two if there is indeed a power outage.

Sensing fear in her message, LaGuerre visited Ms. Ross and brought her a landline phone and some extra supplies such as candles, matches, and a flashlight. He also provided comfort to the scared resident.

This was a special move for the police officer because he revealed that the old woman reminded him of his deceased mother. LaGuerre also said that she left a big impact on him when she said "thank you."

"That's what we're looking for. We're met with so many negativity out there doing our job," the police officer said.
