Mark Salling is doing his best to get back to his regular routine after being arrested for possession of child pornography on Dec. 29.

After being bailed out of jail by family, the 33-year-old Glee actor turned up in Los Angeles, where he and a female friend were spotted leaving a local gym.

"Mark Salling isn't dodging the public eye during his child pornography case -- he got in a workout at an L.A. gym Monday, and at least one of his female friends is standing by him," TMZ reported on Tuesday. "The unidentified woman wasn't shying away from Mark's side as photogs took pics. Gotta say, that's a true friend."

In other Salling news, his friend of 13 years, Hudson Wells, recently responded to the shocking allegations against him.

“He's reeling from the whole thing," Wells, who cared for Salling's animals in the wake of his arrest, told In Touch Weekly. “He's devastated. He’s ruined."

"I don’t know whether he’s guilty of what he’s been charged with, but I think there’s got to be some sort of substance to the allegations," Hudson continued. "I don’t think the police would have gone to his house and taken him to jail if he was completely innocent."
