Following an Oct. 2015 court date, in which the Teen Mom 2 star's ex-husband, Corey Simms, was awarded with primary custody due to Messer's alleged inability to transport the twins to school, the reality star hopes to regain custody of their children.

"Leah [is] hopeful on winning her twins back after she [allegedly] cleared her name with reports claiming her negligence caused her daughters to perform poorly in school," the Lawyer Herald reported on Sunday. "A hearing decision regarding her appeal is scheduled this month."

On Twitter, Messer appeared to address the upcoming court date in a couple of new tweets.

She also shared a meme.

Messer and Simms divorced in 2011 after just a few months of marriage, and since then, they had been sharing custody of Ali and Aleeah. However, in 2014, Simms filed for full custody of the girls, claiming Messer was unfit, and hiding a drug problem.

Messer is expected to return to MTV later this year for Teen Mom 2 season seven.
