He has been trying to get his son back through sneaky back channels instead of going to the police, but Victor (Eric Braeden) will learn he had the wrong girl and may have put Adam (Justin Hartley) in more danger on The Young and the Restless.

Chelsea Intensifies Her Search For A Missing Adam

Victor was sure the Santori's were the ones who had taken Adam, and they wanted Marisa (Sofia Pernas) in exchange. However, he will quickly learn that the person who Adam's kidnappers want is actually Natalie (Mara McCaffray)--and her other investors are the ones behind the crime.

However, now that Natalie has turned herself in to Victor and revealed that she was only paid $1 million of the $2 million Kevin (Greg Rikaart) charged him for her program, she has put both Kevin and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) at risk too--and Mariah will warn Kevin that trusting Natalie was the wrong move for them to make.

Kevin 'Closes The Deal' With Victor?

"She sold the project twice," she says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, January 20 episode. "Victor's going to find out, and then he's going to come after us."

However, Victor could be distracted and kept away from going after the two for now after Dylan (Steve Burton) arrives in his office to get more answers about Adam for Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan). And when he arrives, Victor will have some explaining to do about why he has still not officially reported his son as missing.

"When were you planning on notifying the police about Adam's kidnapping?" Dylan asks in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 on CBS.
