The horror-comedy's freshman run had a surfeit of high-strung college co-eds, but a second season renewal will bring in the medical professionals. While at least four members of the original cast will return, it sounds like Ryan Murphy will have to rebuild the male side of the cast from the ground up.

As of Wednesday, the Fox series was looking for four male actors in their 20s and 30s to take on the roles of doctors for the hospital-set season, according to E! Online.

Murphy has yet to make any definitive announcement regarding which Kappas will return.

"Ryan intends to bring some of the actors from the first installment back," Fox co-chairman and CEO Dana Walden said at the 2016 Television Critics Association winter press tour, according to Entertainment Weekly. "I believe they will be the same characters. We've just started having very preliminary conversations so not 100 percent sure exactly what their plans are, but the initial conversations were very much to return some of the characters."
