There are only two women left on The Bachelor but a new report stated that the show's star, Sean Lowe, might be igniting a romance with someone else: the woman who broke his heart in The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard.

A source told Star magazine the 29-year-old Christian model saw Maynard, 27, at a VIP party recently held at the mansion where the reality show is filmed. The single mom sent Lowe home during season nine of The Bachelorette but the source said "Sean looked nervous to see her. You could see the old sparks were still there."

At the party, Lowe reportedly told Maynard about his engagement to one of the remaining Bachelor contestants and after the event the two kept in touch, with Maynard initiating the communications.

"She texted him immediately after leaving [the event] and said she regretted not having chosen him," the source said.

The latest issue of Star with the respective report on Lowe and Maynard possibly rekindling their relationship hits newsstands Thursday.

Lowe was Maynard's fourth-last pick in season nine of the ABC reality show and he was sent home immediately after hometown dates. She picked Jef Holm in the end but their relationship did not last and Maynard is once again single.

Rumors circulated that Lowe proposed to Catherine Giudici on The Bachelor finale, which has yet to air. In January he spoke to Us Weekly about getting his heart broken by Maynard and the journey of moving on to star in his own show, with the hope of finding love.

"I wasn't too scared of getting hurt again," Lowe said. "I realize that, although I was hurt by Emily, it was healthy for me."

Lowe also talked about the kind of women he tries to avoid now, saying "I don't want a girl that's self-absorbed."

"Too many times I have run across girls that I think are great, and then they talk about themselves," he added.
