Meet Laura the piglet and Marina the kitten, these two rescued baby animals that are overcoming some very sad pasts, are enjoying the company of each other, as well as their carers’ love and affection.

The unlikely pair are the youngest residents of Santuario Igualdad Interespecie (Interspecies Equality Sanctuary), a refuge for farm animals in Santiago, Chile.

While they are quite different from each other in more ways than one, Laura and Marina have already begun to forge an inseparable bond that makes the future for each so much brighter than before.
