'The Flash' Season 2: Scoop On 'Escape From Earth-2'! Finding Zoom Is Only Half The Battle

Well's (Tom Cavanagh) amped up Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) lucid dreaming goggles during "The Reverse Flash Returns," and despite the negative side effects of his meddling in Eobard Thawne's timeline, the nascent metahuman will become more and more comfortable with his powers as season 2 continues. It will be Cisco's trip to Earth-2, however, that really sets the genius on the road to becoming a superhero in his own right.

"He's going to have some interesting experiences on Earth-2," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "He's going to be starting to embrace his power a little bit more."

The change will come just two weeks after Cisco realized his visions are not limited to the present. It appears The Flash is only just starting to scratch the surface of what the STAR Labs denizen can do.

"At the beginning of the season, he was quite terrified of what it meant. We're now slowly transitioning into him not being quite as scared as he used to be and really seeing the value of doing what he can do," Kreisberg teased. "As Obi-Wan Kenobi once said to Luke Skywalker, he's ready to take the first step into a larger world."
