The Flash's Jay Garrick needs his speed back ASAP. Lives are on the line, and not just his own.

'The Flash' Season 2: Get The Tissues Ready, Grant Gustin & Danielle Panabaker Tease Tearful Episode

Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes), and Harry (Tom Cavanagh) will hop through the breaches during "Welcome to Earth-2," and before they can return, the Crimson Comet will have to become Earth-1's knight in shining armor helmet in "Escape From Earth-2." Geomancer (Adam Stafford) is on the loose, and Jay (Teddy Sears) will need to tap back into the speed force if he hopes to save the day.

"On Earth-2, the team races to find Zoom's lair and asks for help from the most unexpected source," The CW announced on Thursday. "Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) rushes to perfect Velocity-9 so that Jay can stop the Geomancer."

Will the STAR Labs team succeed on both fronts? If so, The Flash will not only have a working Velocity-9, but they may also be able to rescue Jesse Quick out from under Zoom's nose.

"Escape From Earth-2" will air on Feb. 16. In the meantime, Barry and Co. will have to battle their way through "Fast Lane" and "Welcome to Earth-2."
