As if things aren't complicated enough, Brandon is about to get sucked into some unwanted news on The Fosters.

In a sneak peek released on Wednesday, Mike is talking to Ana about AJ running away. As they hang out in the Fosters' living room, Mike tells Ana that he thinks AJ took off to be with his brother. As sorry as Ana is about this, Mike jokes about going back to online dating to keep him busy.

This doesn't sit well with others though who think it might be a better idea for Mike to just date Ana. They don't agree with this since they're just friends, but perhaps the idea of these two in a relationship might be worth thinking about in the future.

But the scene moves on to something more enticing. Mike hesitates to tell Ana that he thinks AJ's brother might've been the one who ran into her and the twins in that horrific car wreck.

In what should be a conversation more private, Brandon happens to unexpectedly walk in- and of course, he heard everything.

He was just planning to say goodbye to his grandma and clearly did not need to know such brutal information. But what's done is done and now Brandon knows the new theory of what almost got his family members killed.
